Define your tone of voice
You record how you want to sound. Fill in the blank intake, or have your voice derived from your own emails. The result is a writing profile you use in the next step.
Set up Claude Cowork so it remembers who you are, how you work and writes in your voice. This kit gives you the configuration ready to use: a template for your settings, a set-up for your tone of voice, a vault with memory and a handful of skills.
One zip with every part. Individual downloads are further down.
Cowork is the working mode of the Claude desktop app. You give Claude access to a folder on your computer. Claude reads and writes files there, runs scripts and delivers documents. You work together on a task instead of asking separate questions.
By default Cowork knows nothing about you. A good set-up records who you are, how you work and how you write. After that Cowork picks up an assignment with that context, without you explaining it each time.
This starter kit gives you that set-up. You fill in your details and your writing voice, put a fixed folder structure with memory in place and add a few skills. The work then comes back in your own voice.
Work through the parts in this order. Each step has a file from the kit.
You record how you want to sound. Fill in the blank intake, or have your voice derived from your own emails. The result is a writing profile you use in the next step.
You fill in the template: who you are, how you want Claude to work and your guardrails. You paste in your writing profile. This block steers every conversation.
You copy the vault template into your working folder. That folder is your Obsidian vault and your Cowork working folder in one. The CLAUDE.md steers how Cowork works, MEMORY.md holds what stays true.
You add the skills. For the Humanizer and the tone-of-voice skill, installation notes are in their info files.

Questionnaire for your writing voice. Fill in your answers and summarise them into a profile.
Notes on the skill that derives your writing voice from your emails.
Recognise and remove AI patterns in text, so your writing sounds like yours.
Full folder and memory set-up with CLAUDE.md, MEMORY.md, resources and note templates. As a zip.
Your writing profile describes how you want to sound. You paste it into your global settings later.
You answer a fixed questionnaire about who you write for, how you want to sound and what does and does not fit you. You summarise your answers into a block of five to eight lines.
If you have little written material, choose this route.
You supply five to ten sent emails or messages that sound the way you want to sound. A skill extracts your tone, your word choice and your sentence length from them and builds your profile.
If you have many emails, this route gives a sharp picture faster. The two routes complement each other.
The completed template steers how Claude works with you. You paste the same block in two places.
Open the settings in the Claude app and paste the block under your personal preferences. After that every conversation knows your context, everywhere you use Claude.
Paste the same block in Cowork under the project instructions. That way the work in your working folder follows your preferences too. If you work with several projects, you paste a version per project.
